Frequently Asked Questions

What is an eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM that allows you to activate a cellular plan from your carrier without having to use a physical SIM card. It's built into your device and can be programmed to work with any supported carrier.
How do I know if my device supports eSIM?
Most newer smartphones support eSIM, including iPhone XS and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, and many other recent models. Check your device specifications or contact your manufacturer to confirm eSIM support.
How do I activate my eSIM?
After purchasing an eSIM, you'll receive an activation code or QR code. On your device, go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add Data Plan, then either scan the QR code or enter the activation code manually. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
Can I use both a physical SIM and an eSIM at the same time?
Yes, most eSIM-compatible devices support Dual SIM Dual Standby (DSDS), allowing you to use both a physical SIM and an eSIM simultaneously. This is useful for having separate personal and business numbers, or a local number when traveling.
How long does it take to activate an eSIM?
eSIM activation is typically instant once you've completed the setup process on your device. In some cases, it may take up to 24 hours for the activation to complete, depending on the provider.
Can I transfer my eSIM to another device?
No, eSIMs are tied to the specific device they're activated on. If you get a new device, you'll need to deactivate your current eSIM and activate a new one on your new device. Contact your provider for assistance with this process.
What happens if I lose my device with an active eSIM?
If you lose your device, contact your provider immediately to deactivate your eSIM to prevent unauthorized usage. You can then activate a new eSIM on your replacement device.
Do eSIMs work in all countries?
eSIM availability varies by country and provider. Our eSIMs are specifically designed for use in Myanmar with local providers. Check with your provider for international roaming options if you plan to travel outside Myanmar.
